How is the Norwegian Cruise Line Cruises?

Me and my family and some friends are going on a Norwegian Cruise in February. We are going on the ship, Dawn. I was just wondering what anyone thought of it, what you liked or disliked, any information would be helpful! Thanks!

I thought they were a real good cruise line, went to the eastern Caribbean a few years ago on the SS Norway, had a great Time and the food was wonderful
On my last cruise this past spring in the Bahamas, I was with Royal Carribean, but a Norwegian Gem was next to us the entire time. It looked like a very nice ship which seemed to have many things to do on it.

I have been on 10 cruises… and 8 of them were Norwegian. I have been on the dawn 5 times.. and i really really really LOVED IT! everything about the ship was beautiful.. wait till u see the lobby! The resturants were excellent, the service is great.. and the staff will litterely kiss your butt! They are all so nice.. and they really work hard to make sure you enjoy your cruise. Room service was so quick! i always favored room service lol.. u can order unlimited food.. 24/7.. for free. The garden cafe was open until late at night.. its a buffet that has everything. They have a club where young people our age can go hang out. they even have a 50s and 60s club for the old timers. The shows….. dont miss any of them! they are better then broadway shoes and are beautiful. I love the fact that its freestyle so u can go to dinner at anytime u want.. 4 PM.. 5 PM.. 9 PM.. it doesnt matter at all. I just got back on October 5th by the way. We went to Bermuda. It was amazing… but the ship itself is just great. I went on Carnival and Royal Carribean. Carnival SUCKED. it was old.. stinky.. and the staff was so rude. Royal Carribean was good.. but it wasnt freestyle. So you have to be at dinner at whatever time they want u to go, or ur not eating. Norwegian is not like that at all. Im returning to the Norwegian Dawn August 9. 2009.. I cant wait!

P.s.. dont listen to anyone who says norwegian is bad.. They just probably are greedy and didnt take any advantage of that beautiful ship.

norwegian is the best. ive crused with them 2 times and omg it was amazing. staff was friendly and everywhere people had smiles on their faces. its the best and if anyone tells u they suck its fake because its the best trust me. it has places for everyone from children to seniors. loud and quiet people not a single complaint.
I’ve never been on the Dawn, but went on the Norwegian Star last March.

I’m going on the Dawn next Sunday–13 days to Miami so I hope its as good as the Jewel. This will be my 7th trip on NCL. The food is great, especially the desserts and there is a lot of different places to eat. Entertainment is the best of any line. Just was on RCCL’s newest ship and will never cruise with them again. Carnival is for kids and cheapskates. HAL is all seniors. Princess’s new ships are very good also and they have the same flexible dining times as NCL. If I’m sailing for 13 nights, I’d hate to get stuck at the same table with a guy like me or have a poor waiter every night. Only down side, if something goes wrong (like my ship crashed into a barge down in South America last Dec.) trying to deal with the Head Office in Miami is truly awful. Too bad the didn’t leave from Fort Lauderdale. Its so much easier than Miami.
